Lucid Motors is seeking to lead in the new era of luxury electric vehicles by introducing captivating, luxury electric vehicles that elevate the human experience and transcend the perceived limitations of space, performance, and intelligence.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Android Audio Framework.
  • Strong programming skills, including C++, Java JNI, Binders, and IPC mechanisms.
  • Good knowledge/experience on middleware audio policy manager, audio flinger, android HAL, media server, and audio server.
  • Have good knowledge and understanding of Android development, and debugging tools.
  • Knowledge in design patterns, data structures, Object Oriented Programming Concepts, and Multi-threading.
  • Understanding of audio frameworks (QNX MMF/io-audio/Dev-A, OpenMAX, Android Player (NuPlayer/StageFright), Android Audio System (AudioFlinger, AudioEffect, Audio Policy manager), GStreamer, etc)

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions for Android, including framework components and user-facing features related to audio and media.
  • Work on various layers of the Android audio stack, including the kernel level, Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL), and application frameworks.
  • Implement features like low-latency data exchange for audio and text.
  • Optimize system performance, ensuring stability, low latency, and minimal resource consumption.

Other

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience preferably in Automotive domain
  • Good team player and should follow agile development methodologies and ASPICE practice as part of the SW development lifecycle.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum processes for Project Development.
  • Good to have knowledge of creating detailed SW architecture, requirements, and design documents
  • Experience in Automotive Infotainment systems / working in SDV is a plus
