Cerby is a cybersecurity company that aims to solve the chaos of collaborating across apps by empowering teams with autonomy over their work apps and automatically protecting those applications. The company is addressing the challenge of managing technology adopted outside of centralized IT organizations and securing end-user onboarded applications.
Requirements
- Experience with designing, developing, and maintaining scalable SaaS applications in a high performance startup environment (prior experience in high growth venture funded SaaS startups preferred).
- Experience with distributed task processing, job scheduling, and efficient handling of long-running or complex workflows.
- Experience in designing and implementing APIs with a focus on RESTful APIs
- Experience designing systems where core business logic remains independent of external services like databases, APIs, and message queues.
- Experience in designing data models with a focus on performance and scalability, especially in high-throughput systems.
- Expertise with Python, Go, or equivalent.
- Cloud platforms (ideally AWS) and prior experience building scalable cloud-based systems.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable, high-performance software solutions that align with business goals and user needs.
- Work closely with product managers, engineering managers, UX designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features and functionality.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, share knowledge with team members, and continuously improve development processes.
- Champion new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies that drive innovation and product evolution.
- Actively contribute to our security-first approach by proactively identifying vulnerabilities and implementing robust solutions.
- Collaborate effectively in a remote-first environment, ensuring seamless communication and teamwork across time zones.
