The Autonomy Evaluation Platform team needs to maintain and scale a core validation platform that supports developers across Planning, PCP, and Prediction, enabling efficient testing, validation, and shipping of code at scale for autonomy development.
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and C++
- Strong background in distributed systems, high-performance computing, and software architecture design
- Experience with data streaming/processing, storage systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
- Extensive experience designing scalable, real-time validation systems
- Familiarity with Simulation Frameworks
- Knowledge of autonomous vehicle software stacks
Responsibilities
- You will lead the Validation Platform, leveraging technical skills to maintain a reliable core platform while scaling it to support autonomy development.
- You will set the short- and long-term technical direction for the platform, including the development of feature-rich APIs and backend services that enable autonomous development at scale.
- You will collaborate with engineers on the design and implementation of the platform, data engineering workflows, and API integrations that connect pipelines and strengthen the V&V ecosystem.
- building new features and expanding cross-pillar adoption through Python tooling, APIs, and data engineering.
- Their work spans backend API development, Pandas-based data pipelines, and integration with V&V workflows, ultimately providing the infrastructure that powers autonomy development at scale.

- MS or higher degree in Computer Science, or a related field, with 7+ years of hands-on experience
- You will partner cross-functionally with Planner, Prediction, and Validation and Verification teams to expand platform capabilities.
- Base Salary Range: $200,000 - $271,000 a year
- Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level.
