Microsoft’s Azure Data engineering team is leading the transformation of analytics in the world of data with products like databases, data integration, big data analytics, messaging & real-time analytics, and business intelligence, and is looking to build the data platform for the age of AI, powering a new class of data-first applications and driving a data culture.
Requirements
- 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript
- 3+ years of experience/knowledge of cloud computing, enterprise computing, database products
- 8+ years of industry experience in software development and building world class solutions
- Outstanding technical problem solving and debugging skills
- Passion for quality with experience designing and implementing automated tests, including unit tests and integration tests
- Experience with Azure technologies like Service Fabric, SQL Azure, REDIS cache, Service Bus, APIM, Blob storage, Kusto, Containers
Responsibilities
- Looking for Senior Software Engineer with comprehensive experience in all service aspects of high-throughput, multi-tenant Azure services.
- Establish (Key Performance Indicators) KPIs and successfully drive execution through collaboration and partnership with PM team and partners.
- Design components that handle various types of errors on Azure, write clean and well-structured code with solid tests or maintainability
- Be proficient in C
- Enhance the customer experience and continuously iterate to improve every aspect of it
- Contribute to the growth of a large, profitable business by working within a small, agile team
- Develop a global and ownership-oriented perspective on the service
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
- Ability to relocate is not required, as relocation assistance is not provided for this role
- Must be able to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
