Azure Resource Builder (ARB) is looking to solve the problem of providing a powerful processing pipeline within the Azure Control Plane to enable at scale experiences like Azure Resource Graph (ARG), Azure Portal, Azure Search, and Azure Catalog.

Requirements

• 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• 4+ years of hands-on software design and programming experience in Java, C++, C or object-oriented programming.
• 3+ years of experience developing, deploying, monitoring and shipping scalable cloud services.
• 2+ years of building big data or real-time analytics platforms.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience at shipping a large scale, commercial, online-software solutions.
• Experience with Azure-wide data processing engine to support real-time scenarios across billions of resources.
• Experience with cutting-edge technologies such as Azure Resource Graph (ARG), Azure Portal, Azure Search, and Azure Catalog.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical leadership, raising the technical bar, maintain data and results-driven culture, nurture a team culture of high collaboration and trust.
• Drive long-term architecture and detailed design for highly scalable distributed systems with simplicity and maintainability as core tenets.
• Collaborate across Azure to develop platforms that help deliver insights and automation to simplify the complex world of managing planetary scale.
• Create clarity and direction in ambiguous problem spaces.
• Communicate effectively and partner well with other disciplines of the project team to deliver high quality solutions from ideas to production code.
• Write code working with large scale distributed systems with quality, simplicity, and maintainability as core tenets.
• Mentor and develop engineers across all levels through sharing and learning, while being a role model for open, honest, and inclusive approach to problem solving.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical field
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
• 2+ years demonstrating a passion for customer service, accountability, and drive to take on initiatives and accomplish goals; along with an entrepreneurial spirit with a can-do attitude: self-starter, project finisher and adaptable.
• 2+ years of experience as an engaging communicator, with the ability to analyze and articulate complex issues and technologies with clarity and fluidity; with strong design and problem-solving skills, and a bias for designing at scale.
