Navan is looking to design and deliver the next-generation flight platform, the company's flagship product that drives the majority of its global business, by solving challenging problems at high scale.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building and scaling complex systems in fast-paced or large-scale environments (open to exceptional candidates with less experience)
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, including experience with performance optimization
- Solid background in distributed systems and API design, with hands-on experience in AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Demonstrated ability to deliver production-quality software with robust testing, monitoring, and documentation
- Familiarity with evaluating and adopting new technologies
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and implementation of high-performance architectures and core services that support Navan's global flight platform.
- Take ownership of important product features and services, ensuring they provide real value for our global customers.
- Write high-quality, production-ready code and participate in design reviews, code reviews, and system discussions.
- Help maintain operational excellence through testing, monitoring, and timely issue resolution.
- Work closely with engineers and cross-functional partners to align on technical solutions and deliver cohesive outcomes.
