Corpaxe is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to architect, develop, and maintain robust backend services that power their entire ecosystem of applications, aiming to improve the financial community's capability through powerful tools, actionable data, and industry interconnectivity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with .NET development, including strong proficiency with C and ASP.NET Core
- Production experience with HotChocolate GraphQL including DataLoaders, subscriptions, and resolving N+1 queries at scale
- Strong knowledge of relational database design and optimization, with specific experience in both PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- Experience with performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting in distributed systems
- Solid understanding of system design principles, including microservices architecture, message queues, and caching strategies
- Ability to design and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs using .NET and C technologies
- Architect and implement GraphQL schemas and resolvers to support client applications
- Work with both PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases, designing schemas, optimizing queries, and ensuring data integrity
- Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions for new features and services
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in a remote-first environment
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies on Azure
