The partner company of Jobgether is looking to solve the problem of designing and implementing robust backend services and integrations that support healthcare operations at scale in the United States.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java and experience developing microservices using Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of API design, RESTful services, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and third-party API integrations.
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and query optimization.
- Experience integrating with third-party systems, preferably in healthcare or clinical operations.
- Strong backend development expertise.
- Experience with event-driven architectures.
- Experience with automated unit and integration tests.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL databases.
- Architect and implement scalable integrations with third-party scheduling systems, EMRs, and other healthcare tools.
- Ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Implement event-driven architectures for real-time data communication across systems.
- Build and maintain automated unit and integration tests to uphold code quality.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance to handle high volumes and rapid growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and enhance integration performance.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience in healthcare, biosensors, or related fields is a plus but not required.
- Participate in on-call rotations and handle urgent production issues as needed.
