The partner company is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer, Backend to design and build the next generation of consumer-focused financial products and infrastructure, focusing on large-scale, high-performance backend systems that support rapid growth and global adoption, and solving complex technical challenges at the intersection of web-scale applications and blockchain technology.
Requirements
- proven expertise in backend development.
- Strong experience designing, building, and scaling production services and service-oriented architectures.
- Ability to write clean, well-tested, maintainable code that meets customer needs.
- Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Golang, Ruby, Rails, Docker) and databases (Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and real-time application development.
- experience with blockchain technology, crypto-related systems, growth experiments, and launching products from 0 to 1.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and scale backend systems that power high-frequency, low-latency applications for consumer growth and engagement.
- Design and implement robust, secure, and reliable infrastructure to support global financial products and services.
- Develop and run experiments to drive user growth, engagement, and retention through data-driven backend solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and leadership to translate product vision into technical roadmaps.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and reliability through testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Continuously optimize systems for performance, scalability, and resilience in a distributed environment.
