Coinbase is seeking to increase economic freedom in the world by building the emerging onchain platform and the future global financial system. The Developer Experience (DevX) team, specifically the CI pod, is responsible for building and operating state-of-the-art version control and continuous integration infrastructure for engineers, managing a large k8s cluster, and migrating source code to the cloud.
Requirements
- You have at least 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- You’ve designed, built, scaled, and operated large scale, high throughput infrastructure.
- You write high-quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of your customers.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to identify problems, determine their root cause, and see them through to solution.
- Golang, Ruby, AWS
- Prior experience with building on and operating GitHub/GitHub Actions
Responsibilities
- Build, improve, and operate backend developer productivity infrastructure services and systems.
- Design scalable, fault-tolerant solutions to novel problems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices.
- Work with engineers and leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter.
- Provide stellar customer support to our internal engineers.

- In-person participation is required throughout the year.
- Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.
