Uber Grocery is looking to build the best-in-class consumer shopping experience by building a platform that powers the in-app merchandising and promotions for Grocery consumers around the world
Requirements
- Programming language (e.g. JavaScript, CSS, Node.js)
- Architecting, building, and maintaining software systems
- Product engineering
- Scalability engineering
- Distributed systems
- 2-years total technical software engineering experience
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
Responsibilities
- build and maintain backend services and solutions to support user-facing products
- build and maintain internal tools and platforms used across Uber
- partner with stakeholders to lead team efforts
- architect, build, and maintain software systems
- program in languages such as JavaScript, CSS, Node.js
- build and maintain software systems
- support on-demand grocery delivery to customers of Uber Eats around the world
Other
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field OR 3-years full-time Software Engineering work experience
- Must spend at least half of work time in assigned office, unless formally approved to work fully remotely
