Left Field Labs is looking to solve the problem of building high-quality Java applications for one of their large clients in the technology industry, by hiring a Java Developer to work on a team to build seamless digital ecosystems and drive measurable impact.
Requirements
- 5+ years recent experience with Java (specifically modern Java / at least Java 8+)
- Experience with SQL databases (eg MySQL, PostgreSQL) through native SQL and ORM
- Experience working with microservices, containers (such as Docker / Kubernetes) or cloud lambda functions
- Experience with session management, authentication, authorization
- Experience with REST API development
- Experience writing and running unit tests
- Experience deploying in cloud computing services / working in a cloud instance (GCP, AWS, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project Tech Lead, Front-End Developers and other team members to build high quality Java applications
- Interact with product managers and stakeholders to fully understand product requirements
- Provide recommended approaches to tickets and collaborate on a team of supportive engineers
- Follow coding and unit testing best practices
- Build scalable platforms and products in lockstep with organizations
- Identify and seize new technology opportunities
- Transform AI from a tech tool to the infrastructure for business evolution
