Hudl is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Business Operations team to build software solutions that connect the end-user experience and internal admin systems, powering their Sales, Support, Billing, and Finance teams.

Requirements

  • Full-stack web development experience with cloud infrastructure exposure.
  • 5+ years of experience building and operating mature web applications end-to-end—from crafting intuitive client-side interfaces, to designing resilient backend services, to managing data persistence layers.
  • Comfortable navigating cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.
  • Professional background. Previous roles using C, React, GraphQL, MongoDB, SQL, and/or AWS would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native technologies and patterns.
  • Experience with microservice architectures, especially in AWS, would be a bonus for this role.
  • Domain experience. We want to hear about any past work involving internal admin systems for SaaS products, coordinating closely with other internal stakeholders, or developing against APIs for business systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, billing, payment vendors).

Responsibilities

  • Develop .NET microservices, which automatically provision and revoke customer access to software products, improve the payment experience, and connect our internal business systems.
  • Be at the forefront. We build foundational tools for the rest of the product team, which requires our engineers to frequently interact with other product team members and back-of-the-house teams to translate between the two requirements.
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team. You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Program Management and Scrum to deliver full-stack product features that drive real impact for coaches.
  • Be a key technical leader. In addition to building and shipping features, you’ll help break down complex problems, guide architectural decisions, champion engineering best practices, and mentor others on the team.

Other

  • Adaptability. You can quickly get up to speed on new technologies, systems and business contexts.
  • Autonomous. You operate with outcome-oriented goals, refactoring code when needed and adapting solutions as scope evolves.
  • Technical coaching experience. You’ve supported other engineers through substantial product investments.
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset.
  • Prioritizing applicants who live within commuting distance of our offices in Lincoln or Omaha, Nebraska
