MathWorks is looking to solve the problem of helping leading companies in aerospace, automotive, railway, and industrial automation achieve certification of their embedded systems using MathWorks tools, specifically in safety-critical industries and certified AI applications
Requirements
- Experience programming in a high-level language (MATLAB, C/C++, Python, or similar)
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles
- Hands-on experience with automated software testing or test engineering
- Strong debugging skills and a commitment to quality
- Experience with certification standards such as DO-178C, ISO 26262, or similar
- Familiarity with source control and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, GitHub Actions, Perforce)
- Experience working with MathWorks tools (MATLAB, Simulink, Embedded Coder)
Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain test suites and test infrastructure for tool qualification

- Design and implement test strategies for qualifying new tools and features

- Collaborate cross-functionally with product teams across MathWorks to drive tool qualification efforts

- Support and extend certification and qualification products to meet evolving industry standards and customer needs

- Ensure high-quality tool qualification that streamlines the certification process
Other
- A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required
