Cydecor is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to support NAVSEA's Safety and Regulatory Compliance Directorate (SEA 09) in advancing modernization process standardization, continuous improvement, and integration with the Navy's digital engineering and IT systems.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience with software engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in the application of Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps.
- Agile Developer or Certified Scrum Developer certification.
- Fifteen (15) or more years of experience with DOD/Navy Software Engineering.
- Experience with DoD/DoN Procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process).
Responsibilities
- Leads software design, development, and implementation of modernization tools and applications.
- Applies Agile and DevSecOps principles to support iterative development and deployment.
- Oversees code reviews, integration testing, and version control.
- Coordinates with systems engineers and database administrators to ensure interoperability.
- Implements cybersecurity controls and compliance standards in software systems.
- Prepares software documentation, release notes, and user manuals.
- Provides technical direction to mid and junior-level developers.

- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- Onsite, Monday - Friday, 8 hours each day.
