Tanium is looking to build and maintain best-of-breed products and infrastructure as part of a nimble development team, focusing on a customer engagement model and feedback process to ensure products are designed the right way from the beginning. This involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying products and supporting services from the ground up, while iterating with product management and customers for feedback and input.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Golang (preferred), Node.js, Python, Ruby, Rust, or Java
• Experience with API design and development
• Experience with Azure or AWS
• Experience with containers and microservices
• Experience with modern software engineering development and automation tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm)
• Knowledge of container orchestration solutions (preferably Kubernetes)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain software stacks with Go.lang
• Build and maintain Tanium's Kubernetes helm charts
• Maintain infrastructure build scripts with terraform and helm
• Build tooling to support hundreds to thousands of Tanium customers automatically
• Design and implement microservices to split apart core Tanium functionality
• Author technical documents and artifacts for developed software

• This position follows the Company’s hybrid schedule which currently requires employees to work in the office at one of the following locations a minimum of three days per week: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• CS Degree or related technical field preferred
