Microsoft Security needs to make the world a safer place by providing end-to-end, simplified security solutions. The Cloud Ecosystem Security team is building a marketplace to connect security vendors, customers, and partners, fostering collaboration and accelerating the adoption of cutting-edge protection tools for Azure and M365.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience designing cloud services that are highly scalable and distributed.
- 4+ years of experience in development principles and patterns.
- Knowledge of security best practices.
- 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, or Python

Responsibilities
- Design and build features for an innovative security store, empowering partners to leverage Security Copilot and expand Microsoft security offerings across M365 and Azure.
- Building a marketplace that connects security vendors, customers, and partners, fostering collaboration and accelerating the adoption of cutting-edge protection tools.
- Developing scalable platforms that support seamless integration of third-party solutions, ensuring robust security standards while driving ease of use and accessibility.
- Design and build components for a new Store within security, working with partner teams and marketplaces to ensure a streamlined customer experience.
- Design durable services across multiple releases, optimized to meet all the expectations of highly scalable, available, and reliable cloud services.
- Work closely with Program Managers and other Security Engineering disciplines to deliver core features in the Microsoft security portal, as well as back end functionality that leads to them.
- Use AI to accelerate standard coding practices and further solidify our commitment to security and AI.

- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline
