MongoDB's Cloud Payments team needs an experienced backend engineer to manage the pipeline of revenue from cloud products, specifically focusing on charging customers and recognizing revenue, to meet the demanding needs of a globally expanding customer base.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience creating complex backend systems in Java.
- Experience working across the stack of a modern web application.
- Adept at problem-solving in a distributed systems environment.
- Experience with compiled languages.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to all parts of the stack.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems for cloud product payments.
- Collaborate with team members on software design and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a distributed systems environment.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of major features.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code in Java.
- Participate in frontend development as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in software engineering.
