Modernize several core collector workflows, establishing the technical backbone that empowers athenaCollector R&D teams to accelerate innovation, and integrate with new services and technologies for modernization across all of athenaCollector.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Platform software engineer.
- Ability to design and develop Platform services that are stable, performant, scalable, and maintainable.
- Proficiency and hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Docker, Cloud Engineering (AWS, EKS), Terraform, or similar technologies.
- Proficiency in system design and architecture patterns (Event-Driven, Hexagonal, etc.) for microservices and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of TypeScript, React.js, testing frameworks, monorepo architecture and server-side rendering frameworks (Next.js, Remix, etc.).
- Experience working in an Agile environment at an enterprise level.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop code on an agile team of Engineers, a Scrum Master, a Product Owner, an Architect and an Experience Designer
- Collaborate inclusively with cross-functional team members to promote productivity and effectiveness; share business and technical insights with the broader engineering and product organization
- Develop knowledge and domain expertise.
- Take ownership of what you and the team build and coordinate your efforts across the team to ensure efficient development and operations
- Design and develop Platform services that are stable, performant, scalable, and maintainable.
