Capital One is seeking an experienced engineer to manage and secure its enterprise Directory Services that includes Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, AWS managed Microsoft Active Directory, and Google Cloud Domain Directory.
Requirements
- Experience with building modern authentication solutions that include Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and AWS directory services with security principles in mind
- Deep understanding of core AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Glue, VPC, or IAM
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar
- Automating deployment, configuration, and operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Managing and monitoring AWS cloud resources and ensuring their availability, performance, security, and scalability
Responsibilities
- Develop automated solutions using scripts, pipelines, and cloud based server-less computing platforms
- Analyze, design, and support a highly complex, enterprise level Active Directory and Single Sign On services in a hybrid on-premise and cloud hosted environment
- Protect and secure Capital One’s enterprise Active Directory environments, including on-premise and cloud environments from Amazon, Microsoft, and Google
- Manage enterprise cloud infrastructures in AWS, Azure, and Google cloud platforms
- Manage and automate vulnerability remediation and perform security testing to proactively identify and remediate security risks within the Active Directory environment
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering
- 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Python, SQL, Scala, or Java
- 2+ years of experience with AWS
- 2+ years of experience in building and configuring CI/CD pipelines
