Zus is looking for a Senior Engineer to join the 'Costco' team to build services for managing rapidly growing bulk data offerings while adhering to complex healthcare access control requirements. The challenge involves processing, storing, and delivering health records for millions of patients, handling 10x annual data growth, and evolving regulatory landscapes in data privacy.
Requirements
- experience with operationally stable and cost efficient data services
- experience with at least one of the following: deployment technologies (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.), cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Experienced at working with petabyte-scale data
- Experienced with AuthN/AuthZ and fine-grained access control
- Familiar with multiple languages including either Go or Python
- Experienced in working with healthcare data and APIs
- Familiar with the FHIR and/or TEFCA standards
Responsibilities
- Build and operate data services driving our applications and APIs
- Collaborate with team members and across Engineering to iteratively prototype and develop new functionality
- Provide technical leadership, contributing to the architecture and design of the team’s systems
