Rokt is looking to solve the problem of unlocking real-time relevance in ecommerce, and is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build and scale high-performance systems and data pipelines that serve billions of transactions annually.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience (or 3+ with an advanced degree) designing and building distributed systems or data platforms at scale.
- Proficient in writing performant, maintainable code in one or more languages such as Java, Python, Scala, or Go.
- Hands-on experience with modern data processing technologies, including distributed query engines (e.g., Spark, Flink), stream processing (e.g., Kafka Streams, Apache Beam), and open table formats (e.g., Iceberg, Delta Lake).
- Solid understanding of SQL, data modeling, and query optimization, along with foundational Linux and scripting skills.
- Experience building data products on medallion architectures or with stateful stream processing.
- Familiarity with AdTech or large-scale analytics environments.
