Requirements
- Experience relevant to Postgres, CockroachDB, and GCP
- Expertise developing backend services, ETL streaming, and message processing using compiled languages
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience writing automation scripts and libraries in the data world
Responsibilities
- Support our relational database infrastructure comprised of Postgres, CockroachDB, Consul, and GCP equivalent alternatives
- Work with our users to determine capacity and functionality requirements, develop monitoring tools, and maintain reliable operations
- Partner with our client teams to understand the optimal configuration for applications that use both stateful and stateless services
- Migrate our infrastructure to the cloud using GCP

- Work from our NYC office 3 days per week
- Report to the Senior Software Engineering Manager
