Fidelity is looking to solve the problem of managing execution of test suites and automating the integration of code changes from multiple contributors into a single software project
Requirements
- Demonstrated Expertise designing and implementing applications using Snowflake, Oracle, and Cassandra
- Demonstrated Expertise performing Java multi-threaded application development and deployment using DevOps (CI/CD) tools -- GIT/Stash, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy, Splunk, and Datadog
- Demonstrated Expertise building Cloud native applications using AWS Cloud technologies -- AWS S3, EKS, EC2, Lambda, CloudFormation, SQS, SNS, and EventBridge
- Demonstrated Expertise developing Java applications using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, REST, and SOAP API development
- Demonstrated Expertise performing service orchestration using Apigee
- Experience with Kubernetes and Azure to run APIs in the cloud through automation with integrated security and tests
- Experience with programming languages such as PL/SQL Java, Spring-boot, shell scripts, and REST
Responsibilities
- Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts
- Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms
- Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives
- Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation
- Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing
- Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives
- Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems
Other
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field
- Three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) using Java, Spring and AWS Cloud technologies in Financial and public enterprise systems
- Alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) using Java, Spring and AWS Cloud technologies in Financial and public enterprise systems
- Must work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office
- Must comply with Fidelity’s business governance and regulations, including those related to Criminal Histories
