Applied Intuition is looking to design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable systems to support the full life-cycle of autonomy software development and delivery through a modern CI/CD approach.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in deploying a subset of the following core technologies: Kubernetes, Git, Artifactory, AWS Cloud Services, Docker, MLOps Tooling
- Strong background in working with the Linux operating system, especially Ubuntu or RHEL
- Basic proficiency in a general purpose scripting language (Python or Bash preferred)
- CompTIA Security+ Certification (must be currently held or obtained within 6 months after starting employment)
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
- Proven expertise in setting up and managing on-premises instances of AWS Services, ML Ops tooling, and automated security monitoring solutions
- Experience applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and implementing Center for Internet Security (CIS) 18 controls
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Applied's DevSecOps environments, processes, and tooling to deliver software for autonomous vehicles in a safe, effective manner
- Incorporate test & validation tooling unique to autonomy development including physics-based sensor simulation, multi-agent simulation, and hardware-in-the-loop test assets
- Strengthen software security and improve developer experience by designing and deploying new tooling to increase the efficiency of autonomy development teams
- Oversee the deployment and operation of source code management and build artifact delivery solutions for autonomous systems in complex operational environments
- Administer and maintain High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters required for machine learning operations and massive parallelized simulation test batteries
- Collaborate with cloud infrastructure and corporate security teams to ensure compliance with security requirements for all developer environments
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, Cyber-security or a related engineering field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience performing DevSecOps engineering roles in defense, aerospace, or a related industry
- Must be willing to travel as required to support projects; estimated average travel is once every other month for between 2-5 days (~20%)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be hold or be eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, Cyber-security or a related engineering field
- 10+ years of hands-on experience performing DevSecOps roles in the defense industry
- Current U.S. TOP SECRET clearance
