Abnormal Security is looking to combat cybercrime through innovative cloud products by building a suite of interconnected security solutions on a unified platform, and the Development Infrastructure team plays a critical role in this mission
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience as a hands-on engineer building backend systems and/or platforms
- 2+ years of experience working with Python
- Experience working on or with teams like 'Engineering Effectiveness', 'Engineering Productivity', 'Development Experience', 'Development Infrastructure' or similar
- Experience working on complex and delivering projects end-to-end
- Experience with creating and maintaining CI/CD systems
- Experience with Bazel
- Experience with GO and security
Responsibilities
- Own design and delivery of complex features areas of the Development Infrastructure team offerings, and work on the roadmap for this area
- Setup local development for engineers at Abnormal Security platform
- Develop and maintain CI/CD infrastructure and other build tools
- Provide Engineering with the tools and workflows to develop their changes reliably with less effort
- Actively participate in stopping cybercrime with AI
- Participate in planning, code reviews, standups, and other aspects of the software development life cycle
- Build systems, local development, and security
