Ford's Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design (EVDD) team is looking to develop essential diagnostic tests for comprehensive product functional testing to efficiently identify and isolate failures during production, and to create detailed, end-to-end test plans for the factory to ensure efficient production line flow, thorough test coverage, and alignment with product requirements and quality standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing test engineering, test development, or production engineering, using C++ or Python.
- Experience in a bare metal and RTOS environment.
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence or a similar system for tracking inputs/results.
- Strong hands-on experience with testing, diagnostics, and debugging complex electronic hardware (e.g., servers, compute modules, or similar systems).
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing test for high-performance compute or complex electronic systems.
- Proven experience architecting test processes and successfully transferring them from a lab environment to a high-volume manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in developing data logging systems, working with databases, and creating data analysis tools.

- This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
