The WFOS (Warfighter OS) Display Software and Calibration team is focused on developing display pipeline software, firmware, and calibration systems for AR/VR products, solving complex technical challenges to achieve exceptional image quality with minimal latency.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience with C/C++
- Experience in computer vision and image processing
- Proficiency in Python and Matlab
- Experience in embedded systems, AR/VR devices, light measurement instruments, camera optics, robot and stage motion control, and common communication protocols
- Experience in device manufacturing stations
- Experience in electronic color display and display metrology
Responsibilities
- Design and develop algorithms and production software for photometric display calibration of AR/VR displays
- Design and develop on-device APIs and tools to facilitate display calibration
- Diagnose and resolve display calibration issues in the production environment, working with internal teams and manufacturing partners to implement fixes
Other
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
- Excellent communication skills for working across hardware and software teams
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
