Stanley 1913 is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead technical initiatives and deliver exceptional eCommerce experiences on Shopify Plus, aiming to enhance customer experience, improve site performance, and implement scalable solutions that support business growth and customer engagement strategies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on eCommerce.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify, including Shopify Plus.
- Experience leading technical projects or small development teams through planning, execution, and delivery.
- Experience with headless commerce architectures (e.g., Hydrogen, Next.js, or custom storefronts).
- Strong expertise in Liquid and Shopify theme development.
- Skilled in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) and responsive, accessible design practices.
- Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js or Python.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of Shopify Plus storefronts and related systems.
- Drive technical initiatives, coordinating the work of other developers, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and quality delivery.
- Build and maintain modern, accessible front-end experiences that meet WCAG and industry accessibility standards.
- Integrate third-party systems such as payment gateways, ERP, CRM, analytics tools, and shipping providers.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and marketers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure optimal performance, speed, and scalability of the Shopify store.
- Implement A/B testing, personalization, and conversion optimization strategies to enhance the customer journey.
