HII's Mission Technologies division is looking to solve the problem of rapid, reliable, and secure deployment of mission-critical capabilities for the Minotaur Mission Processor, a critical Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) system.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development involving programming languages such as C++ and/or Java.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- 5+ years of experience with software development, specifically focusing on CI/CD automation, computer networking, and system interfaces in a cutting-edge environment.
- Prior experience with the Minotaur Mission Processor, and/or experience working with Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security.
- Previous leadership experience or a willingness to lead and mentor others in adopting DevOps practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a close team environment to bridge the gap between development and operations.
- Active US level Secret Clearance
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Automating system integration, testing, and deployment of new improved capabilities for an operationally fielded system, including advanced object tracking and multi-sensor correlation initiatives.
- Developing infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions to manage and provision development, testing, and operational environments.
- Collaborating directly with development and operations teams to improve system monitoring, alerting, and log management to ensure system stability and performance in the field.
- Integrating and testing software interfaces for critical ISR sensors like RADAR, SIGINT, and EO/IR systems within the automated pipeline.
- Providing expert mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Directly collaborating with customers to shape the product backlog for your Scrum team, focusing on operational needs and maintainability.

- Minimum 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
