Rippling is looking to transform into an event-based architecture, enabling customers to emit, listen to, and act on customizable events, and needs a Senior Backend Engineer to help deliver on this vision.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
- Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages, such as Python or Golang.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of work, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning.
- Experience building scalable, reliable, distributed, event-driven systems is preferred.
- Experience collaborating with product end-users to ensure software usability, accessibility, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain a highly scalable and reliable system.
- Work closely with other engineers across the organization to drive adoption and enable teams to evolve existing products and quickly bring new products to market.
- Ship high-quality software incrementally and consistently.
