Requirements
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
- 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
- Experience with distributed systems or data infrastructure.
- Experience debugging full-stack systems, including multi-system issues.
- Knowledge of structured data, relational data management or query processing.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure adherence to best practices, including style guidelines, accuracy, testability and efficiency.
- Create and adapt existing documentation or educational content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Collaborate to solve distributed query execution problems, and build an easy-to-use, safe, reliable, and fast platform to execute queries on thousands of machines.
