Requirements
- Expertise with React, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript/JavaScript
- Expertise with developing REST APIs
- Detailed understanding of JSON, Web Service technologies, and data structure fundamentals
- Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and test automation
- Understanding of test automation frameworks and approaches, performance testing, CICD and DevOps
- Proven Web development work experience
- BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering or demonstrable requisite experience
Responsibilities
- Design, develop prototypes, and code assignments for assigned applications
- Contribute to software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)
- Conduct code reviews and follow a test-driven design approach to deliver software that is fully tested via automation
- Debug software components and identify code defects for remediation
- Collaborate closely with product and business partners to understand the approach and craft a system that fuels future growth and expansion through reusability
- Develop software that makes American Express an essential part of customers' digital lives
- Work on the Second Line Platform Modernization initiative
