MongoDB is looking to modernize the Atlas UI stack by providing developers with the tools, frameworks, and build systems they need to create fast, reliable, and user-friendly UI features, ensuring the Atlas frontend is performant, scalable, and delightful for customers.
Requirements
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React, Redux)
- Experience with frontend build systems (Webpack, ESLint, TypeScript)
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library)
- Knowledge of a modern compiled language (Java, Go, C-Sharp, C++) is a plus
- Interest in Bazel or similar build tooling is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and deliver customer-facing features for the Atlas UI
- Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks
- Optimize build pipelines, including asset bundling for the browser
- Improve code quality using static analysis, linting, type-checking, and best practices
- Collaborate and mentor, supporting engineers within UI/UX development across multiple teams
- Lead and contribute to high-impact, cross-functional projects and initiatives

- 5+ years of frontend development experience, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
