ServiceNow's Customer Service Management (CSM) Workspace is developing an application to enable customers to provide service and support for their external customers through various communication channels. The team is focused on design, development, customer support, and collaboration with platform and other CSM industry engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in full stack development with JavaScript or ServiceNow platform development.
- Solid understanding of web security best practices and performance optimization.
- Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue.
- Passion for JavaScript, the Web as a platform, and building reusable, component-driven architectures.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- Strong design, collaboration and communication skills to work cross-team around the org.
Responsibilities
- Full Stack Engineer with good experience in JavaScript and server-side JavaScript technologies to join our application engineering team.
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable UI code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
- Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users.
- Design software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite.
- Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing.
- Focus on highly reusable and modular UI/UX frontend components and patterns to accelerate other development teams and customers.
