Vanilla is looking to make estate planning modern, visual, and intelligent by building an AI-powered estate advisory platform to transform how wealth is transferred across generations.
Requirements
- Proficiency in React/Javascript - Typescript experience a plus
- Proficiency in Ruby/Ruby on Rails
- Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as NodeJS, Python, Rust, Go, Java or others
- Experience in GraphQL and APIs
- Expertise in one or more of the major public clouds, preferably AWS
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of new features and improvements across our platform.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software.
- Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to align on product goals and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, promoting best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.
- Design and implement scalable and secure architectures, leveraging AWS services to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.
- Adhere to professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
