Everyday Speech is looking to enhance its digital curriculum platform to accelerate the acquisition and generalization of social, behavioral, and communication skills for PK-12 learners. The company aims to improve the quality, reliability, and observability of its systems to provide the best possible SaaS experience for educators and students.
Requirements
- Strong experience in full-stack development. Our stack is Angular, NestJS, Postgres, and event-driven architecture; we'd love to talk to you if you have similar or equivalent experience.
- Experience or interest in setting up and maintaining logging, monitoring, and alerting systems, preferably with Datadog.
- Familiarity with agile software development processes.
- Experience driving incremental improvements in codebase patterns and architecture.
- Experience with AWS services (or equivalent), including EC2, RDS, and Kinesis, and an interest in containerization.
- Familiarity with Accessibility, Content Management Systems, and Content Delivery is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Execute full-stack development tasks, with a focus on Angular, NestJS, Postgres, and event-driven architecture.
- Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure our platform is observable, using tools like Datadog.
- Drive incremental infrastructure improvements, optimizing for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver the highest-quality SaaS experience available to educators and students.

- Lead technical initiatives that solve real problems for real people.
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of future-proof solutions across the codebase.
