Parabola is looking to solve the problem of automating manual work for forward-thinking teams by developing new features and reinforcing their technical foundation
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack experience working in a team-based, high-uptime, continuously-delivered codebase
- Experience with relational databases, REST APIs, and OOP principles
- Experience working with AI/LLMs professionally-either building an AI-powered tool or using AI tools to augment your work/impact
- Experience writing Python, Typescript, React, Redux, or Node.js in a professional setting
- Experience working in dynamic high-growth organizations
- Rich interests and can bring a unique perspective to our team
- Experience with Cursor and Claude Code!
Responsibilities
- Implementing new product functionality from start to finish in consultation with product managers: generating your own tech plan, reporting on progress, and building tests + end-customer validation as you go
- Utilizing AI tools (we mostly use Cursor and Claude Code!) to improve your process and efficiency
- Writing performant Typescript and Python code across our stack
- Implementing the logic behind the steps that make up Parabola flows, as well as genericizing shared logic
- Optimizing our services for scalability, stability, and observability as our customer base grows and our product becomes more sophisticated
- Helping our team define processes and practices that will serve us for years of growth and success
- Collaborating with a small-but-mighty group of engineers with a wide array of backgrounds and areas of expertise
