Google Public Sector's Sovereign Mission Solutions team is looking to solve the unique needs of public sector clients by designing, developing, and deploying solutions that address their automation, repeatable patterns, and intelligent insights through advanced data analytics and Generative AI.
Requirements
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience in languages such as Java, C++, Go, Python, or full-stack development.
- Certifications in: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist or CKS.
- Experience with data structures/algorithms.
- Experience with AI, deep learning, or natural language processing.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Experience with Google Cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop prototypes and build front-ends and back-ends for greenfield projects.
- Work with GPS Sovereign Engineering and Google Distribute Cloud Engineering to survey existing pain points, and propose solutions and improvements.
- Participate in and lead architecture and engineering designs with peers and stakeholders, and exercise technical judgment (e.g. deciding between available technologies).
- Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Articulate technical concepts and analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences, including engineers and executives.
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions that address the unique needs of public sector clients.
- Build products that provide automation, repeatable patterns, and intelligent insights through advanced data analytics and Generative AI.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 5 years of experience in software development.
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
