Google Public Sector's Sovereign Mission Solutions team is looking to help organizations leverage the power of Google Cloud technologies by building products that provide automation, repeatable patterns, and intelligent insights through advanced data analytics and Generative AI. The team aims to solve problems for all and create opportunities through technology, specifically addressing the unique needs of public sector clients and accelerating their digital transformations.
Requirements
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience in languages such as Java, C++, Go, Python, or full-stack development.
- Experience with AI, deep learning, or natural language processing.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Certifications in: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist or CKS.
- 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions that address the unique needs of our public sector clients.
- Develop prototypes and build front-ends and back-ends for greenfield projects.
- Work with GPS Sovereign Engineering and Google Distribute Cloud Engineering to survey existing pain points, and propose solutions and improvements.
- Participate in and lead architecture and engineering designs with peers and stakeholders, and exercise technical judgment (e.g. deciding between available technologies).
- Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Articulate technical concepts and analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences, including engineers and executives.
Other
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph.
- Possess and maintain an active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph.
- Required to obtain a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform GPS work.
- 5 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
