Counsel's mission is to multiply the world's healthcare capacity by building the first fully-vertical, AI-native medical group from the ground up, redesigning the entire clinical stack with custom AI tools to make physicians 10x faster and smarter.
Requirements
- 5+ years of building production software experience, ideally with 2+ years at startups or growth companies
- Proficiency in our tech stack: React, NextJs, Node.js (Typescript), React Native, Postgres, AWS, Terraform, Redis
- Experience building at scale, serving hundreds of thousands of end-users and large enterprise clients
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and recent AI developments.
Responsibilities
- Leading initiatives with our Product and Design teams to ship and iterate on unique product experiences in AI-enabled care that improve patient engagement and outcomes
- Working closely with our ML research team to bring cutting-edge AI/LLM techniques into clinical care and implement these features into our agentic framework
- Scaling backend infrastructure with a focus on stability and data integrity
- Improving our physician-facing care platform and integrating AI tooling to increase physician efficiency and clinical capabilities
- Building robust integrations with large enterprise clients, including EMR integrations with healthcare providers, claims data structuring with health plans, and HIE records parsing
