Claryo is looking to build and scale the core video platform that powers their deeply technical product at the intersection of AI and logistics
Requirements
- Full-stack experience — strong proficiency in backend (Python, C++, or similar) and frontend (Typescript/React or similar).
- Direct experience with video streaming technologies (e.g., HLS/DASH, WebRTC, RTSP) and media storage/distribution.
- Comfort working with databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure to deliver end-to-end functionality.
- Experience with computer vision, machine learning, or analytics in operational domains is a plus.
- Experience working with different video container formats and compression algorithms is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in backend (Python, C++, or similar)

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack features with a focus on video ingestion, streaming, and management.
- Collaborate with product and design to translate ideas into working, user-visible functionality.
- Own key components of the video pipeline, including APIs, data models, and cloud infrastructure.
- Implement monitoring, metrics, and alerting to ensure reliable operation of video systems.
- Mentor other engineers by demonstrating strong technical execution and good engineering habits.
- Help evolve best practices around testing, CI/CD, and code quality as we grow.
- Evaluate and contribute to technical decisions that improve scalability and developer productivity.
Other
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience building scalable, user-facing applications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work from SF and NYC offices three days a week.
