Requirements
- In-depth knowledge in web services standards and related technologies, REST API, Microservices, Javascript, React.js and Containers
- Solid understanding of database technologies including SQL, JPA
- Experience with Java and web service development
- Track record of delivering scalable applications
- Proficiency with Agile Development Techniques
- Experience in Web development
- Experience in Identity solutions like oAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, security tokens (JWS, JWE, access token, id token) or other IAM
Responsibilities
- Design code and systems that touch the world population while influencing Visa’s internal standards for scalability, security, and reusability
- Collaborate cross-functionally to create design artifacts and develop best-in-class software solutions for multiple Visa technical offerings
- Actively contribute to product quality improvements, value added service technology, and new business flows in diverse agile squads
- Develop robust and scalable products intended for a myriad of customers including end-users, b2c and b2b customers
- Leverage innovative technologies to build the next generation of Identity and Authentication Platform
- Works alongside others to implement modifications to existing software code that complies with design specifications and meets security best practices
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and proactively assess and evaluate the adoption thereof into the organization
Other
- 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
- BS degree in computer science or other related fields
- MS degree in computer science or other related fields
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills along with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills
- Ability to present ideas precisely and convey development concepts related to network, application, and systems - to both technical and non-technical audiences
