The Home Depot's Gemini Enterprise Platform on Google Cloud (GCP) requires deployment, integration, and reliability engineering leadership to ensure its critical production platform is robust, secure, and performant.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Google Cloud (GCP) services, including GKE (lifecycle, networking, security), IAM, VPC, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage.
- Advanced experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform for managing shared modules, state, and policy as code.
- Proven experience implementing and configuring GenAI data pipelines in Python or Go, integrating structured and unstructured data into vector stores, supporting RAG workflows, and ensuring model-to-data compliance through ACL and metadata alignment (e.g., Gemini ADK, Pinecone, or Vertex AI).
- Strong background in platform reliability and observability, with practical experience defining and monitoring service level objectives (SLOs) and service level indicators (SLIs) using tools like Cloud Logging/Monitoring/Trace.
- Proven experience with cloud security and governance, including VPC Service Controls (VPCSC), SIEM integration, and implementing least-privilege IAM.
- Experience with modern CI/CD practices (e.g., blue/green, canaries) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Demonstrated ability in structured problem-solving and root cause analysis for complex distributed systems.
