Google's software engineers develop next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information. As an AI/ML Software Engineer, you will work on developing reusable solutions by integrating one or more GCP products and technologies to solve a recurring business problem in a differentiated, repeatable manner that accelerates time-to-value and reduces risk for customers. You will help develop repeatable assets that reduce implementation friction, and increase maintainability for critical customer problems and use cases, helping them transform their businesses using GCP AI/ML stack and related technologies.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).
  • 3 years of experience with one or more of the following: Containerization, GKE, Openshift.
  • 5 years of experience with ML and Data Science.
  • 5 years of experience with product/solution development with a focus on product capabilities, features, benefits, users, and support needs.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, communicating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Architect innovative, long-term solutions by strategically analyzing customer needs and focusing on future possibilities; oversee cross-functional teams in the development of deployable code, machine learning models, prescriptive architecture, and implementation guides.
  • Define and own solution requirements, ensuring alignment with the go-to-market strategy; co-lead the design, roadmap, and overall vision for customer-centric solutions.
  • Cultivate trusted technical and business partnerships with customers and partners to identify and resolve recurring mission use cases using Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Lead collaboration with internal specialists, partners, GTM teams, product and engineering teams to transform best practices into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets.
  • Enable customers and partners to develop, deploy, and manage custom solutions on Google Cloud technologies.
  • Develop reusable solutions by integrating one or more GCP products and technologies to solve a recurring business problem.
  • Develop repeatable assets that reduce implementation friction, and increase maintainability for critical customer problems and use cases.
