Volley Hub is looking to enhance the user's gaming experience across all television platforms by designing and implementing experiments and features that drive business growth through improved acquisition, conversion, retention, and monetization.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with products that have scaled users and/or revenue.
- Experience in growth engineering or similar rapid experimentation environments.
- Hands-on experience with experimentation frameworks, A/B testing infrastructure, and feature flagging systems.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React (or equivalent modern stack).
- Experience with gaming, interactive media, or AI-powered consumer applications.
- Prior work on cross-platform products across mobile, smart TVs or voice assistants.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product to refine requirements, write technical specs, deliver features from concept to launch.
- Develop a deep understanding of our users and design experiments that drive acquisition, activation, and retention.
- Contribute to a fast-paced product engineering team by rapidly delivering new features and building principled learnings through experimentation
- Play a critical role in making key technical decisions, balancing long-term architectural health with the need for rapid iteration.
- Mentor junior engineers, contribute to code reviews, and maintain a high standard of code quality, architecture, and performance on the team.

- This job opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement, and we are specifically seeking candidates who are comfortable with on-site attendance in our Bay Area office 2-3 times per week and are either currently residing in or near the Bay Area or willing to relocate for on-site work.
