Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to support our Mission Systems Command, Control Communications, Cyber Intelligence and Autonomy (C4I&A) organization. This role focuses on secure software development, automation, and continuous improvement in support of critical communication and cyber intelligence programs.
Requirements
- Proficiency in software development with secure coding practices.
- Experience with automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development environments.
- Knowledge of software security principles, risk mitigation, and vulnerability management.
- Experience with embedded software development in C++.
- Proficiency in Linux, scripting (Python, Perl, Shell).
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS Cloud.
- Experience in cryptographic system design and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, high-performing software solutions.
- Build and refine CI/CD pipelines to automate development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Integrate and validate software in an Agile development environment.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the software lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
- Ensure adherence to Collins Aerospace development processes, security requirements, and industry best practices.
