Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of complex features and projects, guiding them from initial concept (0-1) through design, development, launch, and ongoing support.
- Bring a customer-focused mindset to all development, balancing the need to iterate quickly and deliver customer wins iteratively.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, ML, and Design team members to translate high-level requirements into robust, scalable features and create sustained and aligned impact.
- Mentor and guide other engineers on the team.
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally and across new offices
- Develop skills across multiple technologies and own the production systems in your domain.
- Work with product managers, designers, firmware and infrastructure engineers to design, build, test, and deliver end-to-end products.
