Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of shipping and maintaining production software
- Strong proficiency in fullstack JavaScript/TypeScript technologies, including React, Node.js, Postgres, and Docker
- Experience with backend development, event-driven architectures, and modern software engineering practices
- Nice to have: experience with AI/ML components, LLM or generative models, AWS services (S3, SNS, SQS, Bedrock), OpenAI, or Python
- Awareness of ethical considerations in AI and software development
Responsibilities
- Develop new features and improve existing ones with an emphasis on code quality, performance, and maintainability
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver innovative solutions that meet user needs
- Participate in defining application architecture and implementing best practices across the codebase
- Mentor and review work of junior engineers to ensure high standards and team growth
- Contribute to incident response processes and participate in on-call rotations to maintain platform reliability
- Focus on delivering value to users quickly and iteratively, prioritizing outcomes over effort
