Chronograph aims to bring next-generation technology to private capital markets by providing a cloud-based analytics and data management suite for venture capital, private equity, and credit funds to analyze investment performance.
Requirements
- Expertise in Typescript, Node, PostgreSQL and GraphQL
- Proficiency in database schema design and writing performant SQL queries
- Experience with frontend frameworks and patterns such as React and React Query
- Experience implementing and extending modern JavaScript libraries such as SpreadJS, HyperFormula, and AG Grid
- Background in building computation-heavy services where accuracy and performance are imperative
- Curiosity about emerging tools that improve developer velocity, including AI-assisted coding
Responsibilities
- Own and lead technical projects from product ideation to successful execution, including: technical decisions, architectural designs, data structures, and development approach
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design to architect high-performance and user-centric features to drive direct client impact among leaders in the private equity space
- Identify new technologies and best practices to help your team and the department continuously improve
- Lead cross-team initiatives to improve Chronograph’s overall developer experience and operating processes
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
